Petite Pedia Plots #146 A 5 year old girl comes in with her Dad.  She’s proudly showing off her counting skills and tells me she can count until 20. And so she did.  So I asked ber if she can count until 100 and her reply was, “I could but there’s just too many numbers.  It’s gonna take a long time to finish and you might need to do something else.”  Pwedeng maging abogado - ang galing magpalusot. 

Daughter Duties #54 While passing by the toy section of a department store, my 82 year old Dad said, “Nung panahon namin, ang laruan namin ay de lata - ginagamit na kotse o kaya bubutain at lalagyan ng string para telepono.
