Petite Pedia Plots 98 Proud Dad told me that his 5-yr old son could read numbers up to 200. As we were measuring the son's height, Dad pointed to the number 110 and asked his son to read it. After a whole lot of prodding, I could sense both Dad and son getting frustrated. To encourage him I said, "one hundred and ....". Petite Pedia Plots 54 "What do you want to be when you grow up?", I asked my patient. The 5-yr old boy answered, "I want to be a man!" Haha. I hope he never considers to be otherwise.

Petite Pedia Plots 53 My 1 yr and 9 month old patient was fond of toasting his milk bottle when he hears the word "Cheers!". During clinic, he toasted me while i was holding the alcohol bottle. I didn't realize he was also expecting me to drink from the alcohol bottle as well. 

Petite Pedia Plots 50 My 11-year old patient just told me he drinks beer. And his Mom allows him. Before I could start on my lecture about the evils of alcohol, he then said, "Yes, Dra, I am allowed to drink ROOTBEER!" 

Petite Pedia Plots 49 Always so used to seeing both parents during this patient's check-up, I asked the mom where the dad was this morning. 5-yr old patient blurts out, "Ay! Nag-away sila kanina, Dra". 

Petite Pedia Plots 40 A 15-year old M om brought in her newborn daughter due to rashes on her face. I asked her when it (the rashes) first appeared. Misunderstanding me, the Mom replied, "Dra, umire lang ako tapos ayun, lumabas na sya". 

Daughter Duties 8 As my Dad and I were admiring the Porsche Cayenne running in front of us, my Mom commented, “Ang ganda naman. Ano yan Kia?” It’s scary what my Mom’s standards for beauty are.

Daughter Duties 6 Whenever my Dad sees me frowning while weighing myself on the scale, he will immediately say, “Sira?” –  always giving me an excuse. 

Petite Pedia Plots 33 Our 5 y/o patient was telling me about Alvin and the Chipmunks. He was enumerating the characters: Alvin, Simon and “Tinidor”.                                                       

Petite Pedia Plots 31 I just discovered Sesame Street Elmo’s full name from my 2 year old patient: it’s Elmo Song. Hahaha!!! Korean na pala sya.

Petite Pedia Plots 29 My 3-yr old patient was telling me how her Halloween went. “I dressed as a witch. I shooed all the boys and the girls away to get their candy. I ate “terminator” (apparently, her cousin) and that was the end of terminator”. 

Petite Pedia Plot 27 My 2 yr old patient had a lot of ear wax on both ears. She lifted the phone handset, listened for awhile and then gave it to her mom and said, “Your turn.  I can't hear anything”. In jest, Mom replied,” That's because there's no one on the phone”. The Dad added, “And you really won't hear anything since you have a lot of ear wax on both of your ears”. 

Petite Pedia Plots 24 Best excuse heard from a child why he hasn’t been receiving stars from school: “Gusto nga ako lagyan ni Teacher.  Ayaw ko lang”. 

Petite Pedia Plots 22 After explaining that he can’t eat or drink, even water, for 8 hrs prior to his operation, our 12 yr old patient suddenly looked anxious. After thinking hard, he then worriedly asked me, “i can’t swallow even my saliva?” 

Petite Pedia Plots 21 My 1 year and 11 mo old patient will have her bday in Mcdonald’s. When asked who her guests were, she answered, “Jollibee, Hetty and Twirly”. Di kaya magkagulo? Lol.

Petite Pedia Plots 19 My 5-year old patient had a hard time distinguishing the answers to 2 questions: how are you and how old are you. So, he decided to answer by saying: “I’m fine years old.”
