Daughter Duties 10 My Dad has moderate hearing loss on the left and mild on the right.   There was actually a medical reason why he would disregard my Mom when she goes on a tirade.  All this time, we thought it was all just conditioned response. 

Petite Pedia Plots 39  My 4-yr old patient was so eager to show off his writing skills. So I asked him to write his name on my prescription pad. And he did! Even filled up the blank for age. When his dad asked him, “how about sex”, he vehemently said, “NO!!!!” Parang nakakaintindi na ah.

Daughter Duties 9 Since Dad is still in the ICU, we couldn’t sleep in the room. So I woke up this morning to this text message from him, “Dala ka pagkain”. Guess he feels much better.

Petite Pedia Plots 38 Couldn’t help but appreciate my line of work tonight. Who else would hear a 3-song concert by a 2 y/o patient at 1130 pm? “Twinkle twinkle”, “Call me maybe”  and “Rolling in the deep”.

Daughter Duties 8 As my Dad and I were admiring the Porsche Cayenne running in front of us, my Mom commented, “Ang ganda naman. Ano yan Kia?” It’s scary what my Mom’s standards for beauty are.

Petite Pedia Plots 37 Sporting a new haircut with bangs, the mom of a patient couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow! Anak, pareho kayo ni Dra na kamukha si Dora”. Couldn’t help but think na hindi ata compliment yon ah. 

Daughter Duties 7 My parents (both 78 years old) insist on eating pizza. And when i was ordering the vegetarian pizza for them, they instead wanted the one with bacon and ham. Haaaaay! Pasaway!
