 This really made my day.

While checking up on her newborn baby , this 29-yr old mom said she was very comfortable talking to me. I asked her why. She answered that we were on the same wavelength since we were probably the same age. When I told her my real age, she couldn't believe it. (And no, I'm  not gonna tell you what it is!)

I then asked the Dad, "Daddy, gusto mo pa ba nang babae?" thinking that maybe he'd like to have a daughter who would behave better. Daughter Duties 2 Woke up to hearing my mom on the phone with a high school classmate of hers. “Hindi ko nga siya kakilala kasi section C siya eh. Kasi tayo  section A.  Lahat ng marurunong nasa section A”. That gust of wind just blew by me. Hehehe.

 Daughter’s Duties #63: Due to the rising number of cases of covid, my Mom has been very worried about me seeing patients.  Yesterday, she was already using tears as a bargaining chip to make me stay at home.  Because I had already made previous commitments, I couldn’t give in to her request that afternoon.  I knew she would get mad at me once she knew I had left the house.  After I had finished with my appointments, I called to ask her if she needed me to pass by the grocery. Very miffed, she said, “So, umalis ka pa pala ha!” I thought I’d get a sermon, but she proceeded to give me a long list of things I needed to buy. She ended it with “Umalis ka na rin naman pala eh di bilhin mo na mga yan.”  #maypaiyakiyakpaperoreadynamansalistahan #angmgananaytalaga
