It’s Prince Elsa’s 6th birthday today!

Over the past few months, his Mom has been continuously reinforcing masculine influences in his life.  This included hiding his Barbies, Princess dolls  and the dollhouse. Mom claims she’s been making headway.  More blues in his clothes, his toys are now cars and soldiers, and he’s a lot more masculine in his body motions.

For his birthday today, his wishes are:
 (1) Jollibee lunch of spaghetti and burger steak
 (2) to ride a P2P bus roundtrip
And.....
 (3) playtime with his Barbie dolls and dollhouse. :)

Petite Pedia Plots 108 While at a stop sign, I looked down and opened a pack of biscuits. The policeman saw me and probably thought I was texting. So, when I looked up, I saw him approach my car and tell me, "Mam, bawal mag text!" On my right hand was a piece of cracker and majority of it was already in my mouth. Obviously I wasn't texting and so since napahiya na siya, sabi na lang niya, "Mam, kaya tayo tumataba niyan eh." and let me go. Buti na lang di ko naisipang sagasaan si Kuya. Hmmmp.

Mom and the Mirror

Petite Pedia Plots 127 Part of the routine check-up for well babies is checking on their developmental milestones.  With this 6 month old baby, I asked the Dad if the baby liked looking at himself in the mirror.  Dad answered, "Oh yes!  I think he got that from his Mom.  Mom likes to spend hours looking at herself in the mirror!" Guessing Game

Daughter Duties 26 Photo from www.leadingtolearning.com During dinner last night, Mom was telling me about this TV soap actress that Mom and Dad both like. Both of my parents have been racking their brains for about a wk (?!)   and they haven't come up with her name yet. So, I try to help them out.  Me: Is she young or old?  D and M: Middle-age! Me: Is she someone I have watched? D and M:  "Yes yes!"  Me: Award-winning?  D and M:"Yes! Yes! She always plays the Mom in soap oper as!" Me: Hmmm, Jaclyn Jose?  D and M: "Nooooo!" It took me about an hour and going on the internet and showing them pictures to find out who she was.  It was Cherry Pie Pecache. After that, Mom again said,"I don't like this certain TV host/actress". And she proudly tells me that the host's name is "Austin!" Mom, I don't know anyone called "Austin" on local TV!!! And so, we go through the whole guessing game again.
