I saw this 2 year old playful girl in the clinic. Mom wanted me to check the child’s memory skills. So, we started asking her about shapes and colors. Half of the time, she’d get the correct answer but I could tell the little girl was getting impatient and frustrated. On the last try, I asked her, “What shape is the block you’re holding right now?” The little girl looked at what she was holding and then she just let the block go and fall.
I guess if she wasn’t holding on to anything, I’d stop asking the darn questions.
