Daughter Duties #54 My Dad placed his bet last Sunday for lotto. Just like some of you, my Dad has a particular set of numbers that he chooses every time.  Later in the evening, he comes to me and says, “Anak, muntik na tayong manalo ng lotto!” with that tone na sobrang nanghihinayang.  The winning numbers were: 01-25-37-40-45-50.  His numbers were 02-26-36-37-42-43. “Biro mo, puro off by one or two numbers lang yung mga numbers ko.”   Hope springs eternal for my Dad.

Petite Pedia Plots #147 This 2 year old boy is excited to come into the clinic.  He knows he’s injection free today. It’s his younger brother’s turn to get shots.  “Hi! San Daddy mo?”, I asked.  Kid answers, “Barko”. (Dad is a seaman.)
