My Dad placed his bet last Sunday for lotto. Just like some of you, my Dad has a particular set of numbers that he chooses every time. Later in the evening, he comes to me and says, “Anak, muntik na tayong manalo ng lotto!” with that tone na sobrang nanghihinayang. The winning numbers were: 01-25-37-40-45-50. His numbers were 02-26-36-37-42-43. “Biro mo, puro off by one or two numbers lang yung mga numbers ko.”
